I have more than 25 years experience with eLearning, from Control Data's pioneering work with the PLATO system through current experience in problem-oriented constructivist environments and complex simulations. This experience also includes course and curriculum development, multimedia design, web technologies, software design, user interface design, teaching, management, research and publishing. I have designed and managed the production of many courseware products for a variety of markets, including corporate, healthcare, government, manufacturing, technology, aviation, insurance, financial services, and education.
I have extensive experience in instructional design, including traditional learning solutions, eLearning, blended learning and learning management systems. These learning solutions have ranged from short courses to complete curriculums and programs, for both corporate and higher education. I am extremely knowledgeable in current research and thinking in the fields of adult education, and methods and best practices in learning and development, and have published a number of journal articles on these topics.
